Kitchen stores abound in Israel. They are small. But they are high end and well stocked. Most have a single glass entry door and a bedroom sized ground level room. Stairs usually lead down to more chef inspiring goodies into a well lit and beautifully displayed basement. Cooking is paramount in The Land where hospitality is spirituality!
After having a colorful taste explosion of an Israeli breakfast with a State Department friend, I walked away with heart and tummy full - vowing to gather the tiny sauce/salsa containers as to recreate that style of breakfast once back in the US.
