It is Monday already.
We play tonight.
Nine unbelievable weeks of Music As Medicine is coming to an end.
A Jerusalem hotel hosts our last ministry gig.
Men and women will gather to hear our music. Unbelievably, the audience are Russian speaking survivors. They were children during the Holocaust and find themselves displaced, yet again.
Hamas’ reign of terror on October 7th affected a generation that deserves to live out their last years in quiet and peace. They have suffered enough.
Pray we are a healing balm.
9 weeks has literally flown by yet has been deep and meaningful in the lives of those you have ministered to there and the lives of us your readers as we can almost taste and smell the places where you've been and journaled about. The stories you've shared, the emotions you've experienced, and the places you've seen are etched on our hearts and minds. They are no longer people in a far-away place we casually pray for. They have become close because you've brought them close to us. Thank you for taking us on this journey with you. May tonight and the next few days be filled with the Spirit of God as you share Him with these precious, war-stricken people He calls His own. May all the details of travelling home come together smoothly. And, as we prayed you and your instruments safely over there, we once again, pray you back. Shalom aleichem, friends! So much love for you both! 🙏❤️🙏
Dear friends, what a journey, what an intense deep journey you made. Sowing the tears of your hearts, seeing the pain and despair of a nation broken but determined to arise. Thank you for the songs, the tremble of your touched hearts that enriched the sound of your instruments. Was listening to the song of Nina Simone: Balm of Gilead and realized, Yes, there is a healing balm!
