We are in Israel for the most Holiest of Weeks.
April 22 means so very much to so many. And yet, not so much for probably even more.
Getting a wheaty pasta packed last supper to-go yesterday, I asked the young waitress of her Pesach week plans.
“I’m like gonna go camping and not think about my studies.” She was a doing geography major. It was her first year and she seemed overwhelmed. “ I really need this break with my friends,” she replied in a Brooklyn-gone-Cali accent.
